This painting is part of the Nostalgia exhibition, in which I explored visual interpretations of several musical modes and Andalusian muwashahat. This particular work embodies the song “NEZHET ALARWAH” Music and singing by Hasan Aricbi and Malouf band from Lybia on Rast maqam

Souls walk in the early morning, leaning on the branches,
His eyes' shine has enchanted me, oh, if only he accepts my apology.
If only he knew my situation.
He came to me this morning, my heart was relieved,
And in a moment of secret, he spoke, revealing his joy,
With a smile like a flower.
